Albion Rovers Football Club are situated in Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire. The team was founded in 1882. They did not join the Scottish league until nearly 20 years later. There history with honors has been a quiet one with not much going there way except a few league titles of the lower division in Scotland. They nearly won the Scottish Cup in 1919/20 season where they were runners up and of course have won the Lanarkshire Cup on many occasions. You can see a full list of the clubs honors below.
There ground Cliftonhill is one that had fond memories when I used to visit it many years ago when my team played there. (You will need to guess what team I support). The ground itself open in 1919 and there is talk that they will sell this ground soon and move to a new developed ground, but still in the Coatbridge area.
