So far this season they have surprise a few times with one of their best victories against Partick Thistle. Saying that Partick have not had the best starts to the season. Cowdenbeath will find it harder as the season goes on, but should survive and this could be more likely as the fate of Dundee FC could bring massive changes to the First Division in regards to promotion and relegation.
